About

Hi there!  I’m Lynn Bond, business owner of Petpeoplerock.com.  Ever since I was a tiny child, I have always loved all kinds of animals.  Bringing home the most recently abandoned dog or cat was right up my alley.  I have nursed baby rabbits, raccoons, squirrels and all sorts of different animals back to health.   I’ve owned fish, chickens, ducks and horses as well.  It would really be a challenge to remember each and every pet I’ve owned throughout my lifetime.  I loved them all!

At one time, I had a very special German Shepherd that was the most loyal, loving, protective dog that I’ve ever had.  It was during this time that I began my journey of learning about natural, healthy pet food and chemical free products.  I wanted to give back to Cally all that I could.  She needed the best possible diet, and this was just the beginning for her.  Of course, I wanted to provide her with a chemical free, all natural and healthy lifestyle.

I started studying natural health for pets back in 2006.   A lot of my friends and co-workers spoke about their dogs and cats.  There was a common theme.  Vet care costs were skyrocketing.  All types of allergies and numerous illnesses were certainly increasing, and our animals’ life spans were growing shorter and shorter.

In 2009, I began having health issues of my own but was unable to find answers within the standard health care community.  I was getting constant infections such as sinus, bladder, urinary and yeast infections. I saw doctor after doctor, and all they seemed to come up with was putting me on antibiotics.  Back then, people were never told that you have to take pro-biotics along with the antibiotics.  So, the cycle continued over and over.  They finally put me on “preventive” antibiotics.  I remember just “knowing” the pills were making me very sick.  One doctor even told me they had done all they could do.

I knew I had some very bad habits that needed to kicked  Drinking soda, specifically, Mountain Dew, was one of my weakness.  In addition to that, I was also eating a lot of fast food because I was always on the go.

Ultimately, after a lot of intense online research, I realized my immune system had been totally compromised.  I sought help through a holistic doctor and it changed my  life forever.

Throughout all of this, I have learned the importance of living a healthier lifestyle for people and their pets.  By now, most of us know that eating all natural, non-processed foods and drinking clean water is super important.  We need to do this in order to obtain optimal health.  However, this is just the beginning.   There are so many small changes that can make a huge difference.  Due to my love for animals since childhood, I have made it my mission to reach out to other pet owners.   Our pets are part of the family, and they deserve the best, just like you!

In February of 2018, my father was diagnosed with small cell lung cancer.  His doctor told him without chemo and radiation, he would only survive for two months.  With treatment, he might make it in nine months.

This was, without a doubt, the most difficult thing in my life that I had ever heard.  By now, I was completely on my holistic path.  The thought of him going through this treatment was just overwhelming.

I researched all I could on this type of cancer.  There were several things that I came across online that I hoped would help.  However, my Dad chose to do none of them.  He went through his treatments like that true champ that he was.  Unfortunately, he lost his battle with cancer in November.  He passed away at home precisely nine months later, as the doctor had said.

The day of his funeral was the beginning to more of the same.  We took my mother to the emergency room directly after his burial.  She was having severe pain and was so weak that she could barely move.  For the first time, she was in a wheelchair but we didn’t know what was going on with her.

I took my mother to the emergency room three more times during the month of December.  Finally, in early January, I received a call from her doctor.  I received, once again, the shocking news.  During one week long stay at the hospital, she had undergone several tests.  My mother also received the diagnosis of cancer.

What are the odds of your father dying of cancer and two months later your mother getting a cancer diagnosis as well?  It was stunning.  Again, I must point out, that we left the cemetery and took her directly to the ER.

I never properly grieved over my father.  I went straight into caring for my mother.  Maybe that was best.  I still don’t really know.   Maybe my grieving will come when I least expect it.

So, I do understand that there is a place for conventional medicine.  Even so, after all I have personally been through, I believe 100% that a chemical free and natural, holistic lifestyle is the very best thing we can do for ourselves.  Preventative health measures will always be the key to your greatest self.

Currently, my mother is still receiving immunotherapy treatments.  I have been, and continue to be her sole caregiver.  There are no words to express how very grateful I am to be able to do this.  At a time in her life when she needed me the most, I could be here for her in every way.  I’m able to take her to doctor appointments without worrying about losing my job.  It’s more than fantastic that I can spend quality time with her.  Most importantly, I am able to focus on providing her with the care she needs.

All in all, I would never have been able to do this if it had not been for my internet business, petpeoplerock.com.  Saying that I am truly blessed would be an understatement.  If you have ever thought about starting your own online business, please contact me and request more information.

I want us all to become the best versions of ourselves.  Truly, I want to help others on their journey to this thing we call “life”!
